SpiroChem will participate in the European Peptide Drug Summit 2026, taking place in Munich, Germany, from October 14–15, 2026.
The summit brings together industry leaders and peptide innovators to discuss developments across peptide discovery, synthesis, delivery, manufacturing and therapeutic applications.
Gerhard Müller, PhD – CSO at SpiroChem, will give a presentation titled:
“FROM PEPTIDES TO DRUGS: EXPANDING THE FRONTIERS OF MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY”
The talk will focus on how medicinal chemistry can help progress peptide hits toward more tractable and drug-like candidates, with particular attention to:
- Translating peptide hits into tractable leads and more drug-like candidate designs
- Deploying peptidomimetic tools to reduce liabilities and improve target engagement
- Refining macrocycles with tailored residues, linkers and conformational control
Gerhard's presentation will address key challenges in peptide optimization and highlight medicinal chemistry approaches for advancing promising peptide hits toward stronger candidate designs.
We look forward to joining the peptide drug community in Munich and sharing SpiroChem's expertise in medicinal chemistry, peptidomimetics and macrocycles.
